Distressed White and Gray Buffet

~~~~~~~~~Sold~~~~~~~~~
Someone left this beauty outside-- which in Arizona is pretty much furniture murder.  I had to completely remove the top as the veneer was all buckled.  After fixing several other structural problems, I painted an undercoat of gray and then used crackle medium for some texture and finally finished it in a creamy white.  I love the distressed areas where the gray and the dark wood show through.  Only two of the original knobs were usable so I put them on the doors and found some cute knobs at Hobby Lobby that match.
Here's the before...
And the After...
Black and Mahogany Table
Again no before pics...don't know what I'm thinking!  I got this table from a friend of a friend who was moving and sold me this table, a hutch, a coffee table, a wine rack and a side chair all from Crate and Barrel and an antique bedoom set for like $200.  It was the best deal ever!  Most of it was in pretty good condition other than the table.  They had a really big dog and he ate off the front edge of several of the chairs.  So after a lot of sanding and patching...It is finally finished.  I painted it black with a lightly distressed/rubbed through finish to show the beautiful mahogany color.  I stripped and sanded the top and re-stained it with a mixture of dark walnut and mahogany stain.  Sealed it with polyurethane and polished with Maguires polish.  I really am happy how it turned out.
Rustic/Distressed Table
This was one of my very favorite projects.  I absolutely love this table. It was so fun to distress and glaze and just go crazy.  Unfortunately I forgot to take some before pics:(
The pictures below are the table in my friend's house.  She is getting her hubby to build some benches and then it will be all done.
